Water Security: Challenges and Remedies

Sheba Center for Strategic Center (SCSS) is holding a panel discussion entitled, " Yemeni Water Security: Challenges and Solutions." Holding this panel discussion on Wednesday 13 August, SCSS has invited a number of specialists, researchers and politicians to elaborate on the topic and explore the various problems of water shortage in Yemen and come up with recommendations and solution that might elevate the taunting impact of this dilemma.

On the top of the invitees list is Yahya Ali Al-Iryani, director of the water resources, ministry of water; Awad Bametraf, chairman of the board of directors, Yemeni island development authority; Dr. Yahya Saleh Muhsen; Dr. Mohamed Abdulbari Al-Qadessi, secretary general of the national committee, UNESCO and a professor of the Geology Department, Sana'a University. Add to that are Ali Saif Hassen, head of the political forum; Dr. Abdulqader Assaf, head of the eastern region development authority; Dr. Khaleel Al-Maqtari; Dr. Mohamed Musleh Al-Sanbani, head of the land and water department, Agriculture Faculty, Sana'a University.It is worth noting that the panel discussion would be held at the SCSS headquarter at 10 am.
