Lectuer this week in SCSS : Yemen and Drugs: the Problem and Remedies

As part of its program of periodical lectures, the SCSS hosts Colonel Musa'ab Ali Assoufi, the Deputy General Director of the Anti-Narcotics Administration, to deliver a lecture entitled "Yemen and Drugs: the Problem and Remedies" on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009.

Mr. Assoufi is going to talk about the National Anti-Drug Strategy, touching upon an antidrug mechanism which is in conformity with the law and suitable for the problem. Reviewing the phases of this growing criminal activity in our society, he is going to point to the significance for academic research on this phenomenon and for surveying field studies to know how rife and deep such blight has become.
